Pilates is a low impact form of exercise which focuses on strengthening the body, paying particular attention to the core muscles.
Regular Pilates classes will help you to improve your strength, flexibility, mobility, coordination and balance; reducing aches and pains and making every day movement more easy.
The 6 Pilates principles (Breath, Concentration, Control, Precision, Centre and Flow) were actually created by Joseph's students. They condensed his theories into 6 simple ideas to make his method accessible for future generations of students.
